I guess this is proper place to post rather than the "politics" area since it is artwork. So what do y'all think? I know it isn't an "original" political view, but what is?

well I think that if all you're trying to do is say something about politics via a drawing you should post this in the Politics board.
But if you're looking for art critique then it belongs here.... though I have been wrong before.

on to the picture, there's a lot of blank space on the drawing, I personally do not like excess whiteness, so I'd put in a background maybe one displaying more of your political views? as for the colors the skin could be darker if you ask me it looks more white than green. around the lines it doesn't look colored in all the way, the spikey thingys on her hat's lines are a little squiggly.
And I just notice she seems to not have a neck... that's all I got, I don't really care for politics but the sign kinda gives away what you're trying to say, usually political cartoons are less straight forward about what they have to say.

I like it. It just is a bit lacking, with the plain white background and all. There is probably room for another visual metaphor somewhere in there, but then again, I don't really know a lot about political cartoons.

Weird, you made the Statue of Liberty fairly attractive, when the real life statue resembles an ugly, man-woman.

I think I said everything I wanted to say in this piece, but more in the background may have made the image more interesting, true.

I know I took some liberties (no pun intended) with the look of the lady, but I figured it would be more fun to draw/look at a more-attractive woman than a "man-woman" as you said.
