ok, the following things are bad and should never be done
-using gradients
-using images you havent draw, unless theyre textures
the rest of it is fine i guess, what program did you use and did you do it with a mouse?
I'm sorry but this is a few circles and some google'd oars slapped on the sides.

I used Paint.net because I'm too cool for Photoshop. Yes, I used a mouse.
