(5. Why only August especially because there is nothing coming out that is any good, bar one or two examples.
how many games have come out this month?...
none?
Oh, Disney Sing It: Family hits and some shitty looking racing game have come out.
I pick Disney Sing It: Family hits.
Look like shit. Only reason Metroid Prime kicked ass is because it was made in Texas.
True story...
I'm just going to say either Metroid: Other M or Mafia II
Xbox live: C0n Queso
PSN: A-Spiky-Kitten
Steam: Baby Diesel
Isn't Metroid: Other M coming out in SEPTEMBER?
Minecraft: grimmdestroyer
PSN: KindofBlue
Scott Pilgrim's got my vote. Anything with serious psycho vegan action is worth a buy in my book.

We are only nine days into August. Other M could suck ass for all we know.

If this post was made after September 12th it makes me more of a liar.

Funny story actually: Game Informer did an hour long playthrough some months back and they pointed out a number of problems with its set-up. Maybe they fixed it up or GI are a bunch of idiots but I'm still gonna be wary until the actual reviews come out. Till then, Scott Pilgrim baby.

Metroid Prime kicked ass because:
1. It and its sequel Echoes are the only first-person games I've played that don't have horribly designed controls (didn't like what little I played of Hunters on the DS though, and haven't played Corruption yet due to lack of a Wii). Really, I kinda wish more games controlled like Metroid Prime. The first-person shooter wouldn't suck so much if it was less Call of Duty and more Metroid Prime.
2. The developers at least seemed to understand what makes Metroid awesome, and gave the game as much of that as could be done in 3D, while also adding interesting aspects like the different visors that were very much worthy additions to the gameplay.
Texas had nothing to do with it. That game could have been made in Japan, or anywhere else for that matter, provided the developers knew what they were doing with the Metroid license. I personally think Other M looks good in its own way, but time will tell as to that.
Metriod prime is... eh... kinda.. um.. well... boring. but the main characters Hot , lol. xD >.>Hot

August 31st actually.

I disagree. Shooting bad guys in Call of Duty was fun because I could do it with whatever weapons I want. Shooting baddies in Metroid Prime felt like a chore, because they respawn every time I come back, and usually require a special method of killing them. And CoD doesn't have the non-linear problem. I like exploration, but in the side scrolling metroids, getting past an area often required you to shoot every inch of a room before finding a secret path. Call of Duty tells you where to go and what to do.
Every one of us that's played a Metroid game has gotten stuck multiple times until they find a new path they hadn't seen before. I own all the metroid games except for Metroid 2, and Metroid Prime 2, but I never beat the first metroid prime or Super Metroid, which are constantly hailed as the best games in the series. Both of them give you no sense of direction to your objective, and at no point do you even have a clear mission (that means a lame story). In MP3 and Metroid Fusion, Samus actually has a commanding officer telling her what to do. Though you can still get stuck, at least you know what the hell you need to do, and with that information, get a hint on how to do it. Super Metroid was a giant guessing game, and Metroid Prime had no reason for you to land on the planet in the first place.
I usually frequent the VG and collaboration Forums. If you find me anywhere else, I'm lost and can't find my way back.
I like all metroid games.... sooooo I will probably like other M too (even though it has a whole different kind of gameplay)
aaand metroid other m isn't coming out this month... but whatever
WANNA YOU WANNA WEENIE ME!?
''Other M'' has got to be the worst subtitle ever, with the exception of ''Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake''
hahahaha!, Erm... I like your reviews!
Not sure if it came out late august or early september but I don't care. Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale.
Yeah.
You heard me.
Probably Madden 11. That game is pretty fun, even if it's just a repackaging of last year's game.
