I have a subscription to Guitar Player Magazine. It's cheap, and non biased. Most guitar magazines jizz all over mediocre metal and rock, while this magazine explores jazz, country, folk, pop, and even world guitar music. There's always a good variety of articles such as gear reviews, interviews with famous players (Matt Pike one made me an instant fan to the mag), and even letters from local players and their stories. My first issue featured this sexy beast.

I used to be in LOVE with Blender Magazine... but I fell in love too late. Even with it's great music reviews (and included EVERYTHING), it was canceled in April 2009. I have the last issue -- it's focused on Kelly Clarkson and U2. :\
Nowdays, I'll check in to Spin, Rolling Stone, Billboard, and others... but it's not the same.
Life is a performance, and the world is full of critics. Give it your all like it's your last show.
