Nothing. You just won't have a pretty icon to give people an indication of what your submission might be about, you'll just get a generic temporary icon as happens now.

Submissions with icons tend to be more appealing to viewers, since it gives them a bit of eye candy to look at before making up their minds whether or not to watch/play them, so it's in your interest to update your own icons if someone else didn't care there first and do it for you.

Actually, the original comment was merely ignorant. Your whole diatribe about why "gay" is an insult was definitely homophobic and borderline offensive. I've definitely noticed this. Especially when on the forums. So much less javascript errors and no waiting to connect to the server over and over during high traffic times. Maybe when the redesign comes there will be a new filesize limit for higher quality work.

So wait, in this redesign, will the portals kinda look like the Art Portal? That would look pretty cool. If not, whatever, but either way I can't wait.

And I noticed the speed improvement, even when my connection is getting eaten up, this is one of the fastest sites to load.
