During her menstruation period, we usually have anal instead of vaginal sex a few times.

Yesterday, we had regular vaginal sex again, because she said it was okay... but afterward I thought to myself...

Well, if you were to go from anal to vaginal without proper sanitation, you'd definitely cause some sort of bacteria problem with your girl's vagina.
As far as men go... our urethras are so long that bacteria rarely can cause any sort of problem with moderate precautions.
