Drunken conversation led to this debate in which we eventually decide unanimously.
Kevin from Home Alone would probably make better traps than Jigsaw. "Saw was gory and elaborate", "Saw kicked ass"....yeah whatever. Kevin was like 10. He was like a child prodigy.
Had Kevin (not Macaulay Culkin), went to college and got a degree in engineering or hell just kept up with the trap making in life I think he could give Jigsaw a run for his money.
.......just saying.

Question: Is he going to make traps Jigsaw-style or is he still going to use his toycar? Also, would he be a psychopath?

Shit... I never thought about it like that. Yeah, that kid was a fucking genius though. I guess the saying "you can do anything if you set your mind to it" doesn't apply when your dealing with a homicidal ten year old.

Oh, it is. But he plays a homicidal child in it, so I figured it was relevant.

The Good Son was fine. I assume you heard of it from the nostalgia critic and didn't bother to watch it, right?

Kevin's traps are meant to keep you out/are booby traps.
The traps from SaW are meant to make you torture yourself/a partner and keep you in/kill you.

Ok? So we're talking about potential. Given the circumstance (two men after you) he made traps to fit that situation. Who is to say what he is possible of given different terms and goals? Going off of those said traps you mention I do believe the potential is there to do more and do it a different way.

That's what I was thinking.
Meet Kevin McCallister. A young boy who defied the odds and saved himself from bandits not once but twice through ingeniously-laid booby traps and mind games. Except that Kevin began to enjoy his games a little too much. And when the crimes stopped and his marionettes were sent to prison for good, Kevin began looking for more puppets.
And this time, he's not trying to save himself: they are.

He could pull as much stuff on others, sure, but he'd never be badass enough to eat a fucking audio tape. Besides, he only figured out defensive traps, never approaching capture and torture.
