First off, you must read this epic thread about the Abobo arcade cabinet BoMToons built for Comic-Con to show off the Abobo game he is making with RoG from I-Mockery and PoxPower!
Next, VOTE DAILY ON THE CUP CAR! Stranger things have happened. We can at least beat Sirius XM.
Third, Nathan has reached 75% of his Kickstarter Funding Goal for his documentary! Help him if you can, he doesn't get the money if he doesn't reach 100%.
So Comic-Con wrapped up on Sunday and I woke up on Monday with some sort of stomach bug... Hang around 100,000 people and that tends to happen every few years. I'm better now but still getting caught up.
Luis has been posting Comic-Con photos on his hub page so send him photos if you got 'em.
Thanks again to everyone who came by at Comic-Con, I managed to step away from the booth more this year so that was cool.
OK MOVING ALONG
A new art contest has been announced: B-MOVIE POSTERS! Check it out.
Murudai is having a music contest for his next Xbox Live Indie game. $250 in total prize money for the winning songs!
BTW if you like the new Scott Pilgrim XBLA game that was on display at Comic-Con, the art is by Paul Robertson, who drew the Tankmen pixel art in the NG footer. Fun fact! He also did this for the 2007 redesign but it was part of a feature that never made it:
It's always good seeing newgrounders having influence elsewhere, like the Scott Pilgrim game.
gives you that sense of pride :D

What part of the site had dancing sprites of NG characters in it?!?
Voted for the car again and you should really put that .gif where it says 'Some account type thingy here.' It would be a nice addition. :)

That is the coolest shit ever. I'm upset I didn't get a chance to play that beast.

How can you abandon such amazing artwork!? Really though, that's some awesome pixel art in the footer.
cool and funny image
Thanks for the news, Tom! I want to see what's going to happen with the NG Cup Car in the next round. Nathan's documentary will get there soon, if more people will donate, of course.
I love the dancing sprites. They should go in "Some account type thingy here."
I laugh at your sigs!
Regular Newgrounds are really making a name for themselves nowadays.
well, more so than a few years ago.
Glad to know artists and programmers alike are making such a big impact on events such as Comic-Con.
Call me a pessimist, but I don't think we have a chance at winning when Trollcar has, like, three times our votes with three days left to vote.

Read, and quite epic indeed.

It's a lot worse at Download Festival, with people camping in tents without having showered since the day they arrived. Somehow I only returned sunburned this year, and very thankful.
Visiting Newgrounds Since 2003
That B-Movie Poster contest looks pretty epic, I think I'll check it out...

Argh! The dreaded capital C! D=
I mean, just cos my logo has that cool thing where the c and the p join together doesn't mean it's a capital C.
Anyhoo, it was a good old time. Highlights certainly included the Scott Pilgrim panel where I was lucky enough to get the chance to go to the first screening. I found it amusing we shared the same flight between San Diego and Philly. Would've chased after you after landing, but at that point I needed to fill the void following the lunch hours lost from going 3 hours forward.

(And yes there's some pictures of furries. It's my response to a running gag Weebl makes anytime I go abroad for a con.)
Also, with the exception of the free trading cards I got from the i-Mockery booth, these are one of the most epic bits of merch I found.
