I once met a pretty sophisticated 10 year old on a game of Nazi zombies. He was pretty damn good, and he always cooperated, and even managed to save us all a few times. His voice wasn't terribly annoying, but you could at least tell that he was still a pre-teen. We were both fans of weaponry, and he actually knew what he was talking about. We also had a riveting conversation about music, politicts, and movies. All in all, he was actually fun to be around. When a teammate asked him what he thinks of other kids his age on Xbox live, he stated "They are really fucking nerve racking. They give people my age a bad name". This is possibly one of my only good experiance with a pre-teen on Xbox live.

I know he's not 12, but hell, I just thought it was interesting I met a 10 year old much more mature than a 12 year old, even more mature than some young adults.

It's true, they're not all annoying. If they're not being little dicks, I'll often talk to them and help them if they need it.
