Is Facebook being hacked?

Well, on the last couple of hours my brother has been seeing some weird messages on the "like" button and other places on the site.
Apparenttly, it is something in Turkish (?) and has weird meanings, things regarding your grandpa and stuff. The only thing we could translate well was on the birthdays page, something that said "fuck you bitches!" with the help of google translator.

I was talking to some guy on chat before, and when I refresh facebook and look at the chat, there were links between my messages to some sites that had malicious stuff on them, odd considering I didn't send them. Maybe they are related? Hasn't happened since or beforehand though...

Yeah, it's getting all weird, but only on my desktop pc, on my laptop everything is fine.
I dont know why, but I'm very curious about it. I tink it's weird to see a major website get hacked.

Well, i heard they were deleting user accounts and groups so, i dont think so.

Things are fishy, and to be honest kinda scary if it really mean something like that.

I dont use facebook all day, but I think it's pretty serious if a site with a lot of personal info from its users is hacked, and these hackers have acces to all that info.

Looks like they did it by hacking the facebook translator and affecting spanish users and some other language users too.

There are also offensive messages on spanish and other shit, like instead of "all my pics" is "all my dicks".

Whatever, I tought maybe this was a 4chan thing and you guys had some info about it. Guess I was wrong.

No really, but it's interesting to know that your personal info is not as safe as you think.
Some friends accounts got deleted too, so, it's a general problem.
