Free Rice Crew

Ok NG, time to put you to some use. I did some searching and no one seems to have made a Free Rice Crew or Club. So I've decided to start one. This is their FAQ and website.

For those of you who don't know, Free Rice is a place that allows people to both improve their minds and feed the poor at the same time. Generally, for every question you get right, ten grains of rice are given to starving people somewhere.

This site has a save feature so you can keep track of how many rice you have in total, or you can just play for the fun of it. Either way, you don't have much to lose, and these people have everything to gain.

The club can be used for discussion and posting how much rice one has accumulated and stuff like that.

The Rules:

Obey the rules already set for the forum.
Treat everyone with respect.

OK, I will join. expect a reply within at most, 1-1 1/2 months, if I don't reply by then, I would have left, or am just late getting info. until I post after 1 1/2 months passed, consider me as if I left. BTW, I support this picture that supports Free Rice.

Free Rice! Yay. Its one of my internet Favourites. Its come a long way since I first saw it, with countres etc as well as words now. People should play Free Rice every day! I don't actually join clubs, since I am too wrapped up in the D&S and Wikigrounds, but yeah, Freerice!

you do know free rice is actually kind of pointless since its Owner is United Nations World Food Program? which donates billions of dollars worth of food a year? sure it might donate some rice but here are some nice statistics,
In its first six months of operation, FreeRice donated over 42 billion grains of rice. One month after the inception of the viral marketing program, users had earned enough points for one billion grains of rice. The United Nation's World Food Programme stated that this amount could feed 50,000 people for one day.
Thus, approximately 20,000 grains of rice provide enough caloric intake to sustain an adult for one day. Using this calculation, enough rice is donated to feed about 7,000 people daily. Since its inception, as of March 28, 2010, FreeRice has donated over 80 billion grains of rice. This is enough to provide food for 3,850,000 people for one day.

no what I am saying all you are doing is feeding 7000 people which is crap and knowing its dispersed by the UN I don't even bother with Free rice its a waste of time. hunger is a great way to keep the population under control.

I think education is a better population control. And even if it's only 7,000 people, that's 7,000 more that have been fed. Besides, a bigger waste of time is browsing NG looking for people to troll or to have mundane chit-chat with.

It sounds more like an empty assumption that their supplies are being stolen, and I highly doubt they are. Anyway, I just got 20k!

Why, when two of the three you've already put up show that the UN is trying to stop it from being diverted too militants, even going so far as too stop sending the aid to those areas?
