So a couple of months ago, my good friend of 7 years sort of went behind my back and asked out a girl i liked without bothering to even tell me or anything. Nice of him. Anyway, he knew i liked her a lot, about 3 days before he asked her out he was even saying "congratulations on getting a date with her" etc and all this. So then she tells me she only likes me as a friend, coincidentally on the day my dog gets put down with leukemia. So i get back to school and shes told all her friends "oh i have a boyfriend" but won't reveal the name so eventually she explains the situation and on my mates 18th i get absolutely hammered, sit in a beer garden and chain smoke for a few hours ranting about him being a dickhead etc and her being a racist term lets say. So NG, here I am now and i still feel some hatred for the guy. He's never really talked to me about it or anything and I just wondered from this do i sound right to be angry and hate the guy, or am i just a jealous fail?

I'm only 15 so i don't really know much but i think you should be pissed at him but not hate him well maybe for a sort while but not long...maybe you should talk to him about it, i mean he has been your friend for 7years...

I hate not being able to edit posts :( But yeah forgot to add on your not being a jealous fail and i think you should talk to him, you can't let a girl ruin a 7 year friendship. Though yeah he is being a arsehole. But if he doesn't seem to care that you liked this girl the maybe you shouldn't be his friend he isn;t being very friend like, he could of at least told you he was going to ask her out. But as i have said i don't know anything lol.
