I don't understand why the greatest gotta die...
I've kissed the earth, I've kissed the sky -
I've played the game but I'm not playin' life.
Like turning a new leaf I'm gettin' more patience...
Here I am, between shadows in total salience.
There I was, speakin' to the stars and aliens -
Illuminated as though I breathe in halogens.

My favorite thing, might not exist anywhere other than in my dreams -
It is without a doubt I now understand that nothing is as it seems.
