Don't you think it should be a set rule that people view tutorials before asking questions? People spend a lot of time making tutorials, and the newbies should read them. This should be for questions that aren't always explained in tutorials.

What Toolgod's f-ing point is is that we were all n00bs once, but everyone asks the same damned questions when the answers can easily be found on flashkit or when you scroll down the board a little further.

Ironically, the question that Toolgod asked has also been asked many times before on this bbs (and indeed on just about every other similar medium) many times before.

i'm gonna have to agree with tfx, all you "newbies" (and i use the term lightly) really need to read All posts before you go asking a question that has been answered 50 times. or go to one of those tutorial sites. the greatest way i've found to learn flash is go a buy a book called "macromedia flash 5 for windows and macintosh" by Katherine ulrich. but if your wanting to learn ActionScript, go buy i book called "foundation actionscript" by sham bangal. i own each book and have learned more about flash and how to use it than i ever knew existed! although i'm nowhere near the status of toolgod i'm a lot better with flash than 90% of the idiots on newgrounds. i hope someof you have learned something and i strongly suggest that if you want to learn flash, go buy those books!

Well if I try to pass it I feel guilty. I mean, I want to help them, but I just get tired of reanswering the same question. I'm glad DeathWish can ask creative questions, but he always AIMs me, so none of you know what is going on.
