The movie was good.
Me and my friend were just flipping around, and we were like, "Oh, Misery, how scary can it be?"
Needless to say, we were pretty significantly freaked out.

Pardon the double post, but I also thought that the movie had a sorta subtle dry sense of humor in it, because I'm sure Stephen King wrote the book as an exaggeration of some of his fans.
In fact, there was one time when some crazy fan of his rang their doorbell (he lives in Bangor, Maine), and then as soon as his wife answered it, the fan just ran upstairs to their attic and locked himself in there. They had to call the police and everything.
I'm sure the book was in response to that.

Kathy Bates won the Oscar for Best Actress for that movie. She deserved it.

Only in the same way that a writer is held captive by a crazy woman.
I wish I hadn't read the book before I watched the film, because the book is far more creepy and disturbing than the film was.
Some people feel content to pour syrup on shit and call it pancakes their whole lives.
I read it a few years ago. It creeped me the fuck out. I'm kinda scared to watch the movie.
Life is a performance, and the world is full of critics. Give it your all like it's your last show.

I've been planning on seeing it for a while. I'll probably read the book first, as I do with most movies.
