Poem: Neglection. 2010-07-22 13:19:21 Reply

My life is lived a sliver, all the fragments in a quiver
In control of, I don't know, some silhouette holding a bow
Launching my life as if it its arrows, my light is fading, eyes get narrow
I wish I could have lived it better, highly heated gets the weather
The silhouette then sent a shiver, then the shadow hissed and slithered
It spoke so fluent, smooth as satin, a foreign language, I guess was Latin
Now in a section none should dwell, caught by my knees was dragged to hell
Right then before I hit the gates, I had awoke, sweat-drenched my face.
I began to think and wonder why, tears morphed to blood there as I cry
Blind by blood, I had new fears, then Latin infested my ears.

It was kind of hard to read and so the meaning of the poem was slightly obscure...

Other than that, I thought it was great.
