I agree, aliases are way much better than real name, at least, for some people. Anyways, he does what he wants after all.

I think in Dan's case his real name is pwntacular. I mean Dan Paladin. That just sounds like he is a guy who is ready to kick some ass.. or be a holy avenger.

Well what ever he wishes is his own choice. I will still know him as synj though. The name is just the way I have branded him. Can't change that.
