I honestly assumed the "...Like It Or Not" portion in the title was going to be finished with some outstanding revelation. As in 'Like it or not, even though it's an overly-realistic, overhyped shooter that despite being seen as mediocre by the crowd that does have sex with every slut at school/work, but is still making more money than most 3rd-world countries. '

But yeah a generic "DO YOU LIEK THIS GAEM? LOL" thread is just as informative and original.

The posted above me, he is completely correct. In pretty much every way.

I have, for a fact, stopped playing MW2, simply because it makes me angry to a point beyond where I like. I hate being angry at all, for that matter. MW2 is so utterly ridiculous in all ways, from weapons to perks. There are uneven balances between classes. Infinity Ward does nothing to stop hackers. They rarely patch problems.

And yet, the game continues to make so much money. I'll tell you something right now, Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops are going to ruin the franchise completely. So much so, that there won't BE future COD games.

It is overrated and does nothing to progress the FPS genre. Just another shooter with no teamwork ethic or strategy.

I did love CoD2's campaign, however.

I love MW2 and think it is a great game. The response is always smooth and when you get better at it and get a great kill it feels immensly satisfying.
That being said, It's not my favorite FPS. I'd have to say Bad Company 2 is better.

Hate it, I have only played multiplayer twice, and I hated it, Steam says my total time is 52 minutes, Plus 30 minutes at a friends house (On the xbox360)

It was just non-stop killing, No teamwork, No tactics... The round starts and it's an instant death match, All game modes are the same, it just feels like it's deathmatch, Even capture the flag was death match with flags!

The PC is full of aimbots, All I saw on the kill came was someone with a sniper, no scope, killing 3 people in all sorts of direction in 3 seconds and no misses and all headshots, I saw it int every round I played with half of all players.

Even when you do team work, everyone hogs kills and ruins the teamwork, One match we were all behind the enemy, we discussed on voice chat and started to sneak up and knife them and some fag comes with his machine guns and shoots rapidly only getting one kill and then the enemy see's us on the radar... the rare chance of teamwork RUINED

I like it, it's something I can quickly pop iin and play without having to think much. A good basic shooter.

These just seems like a band wagon statement. Black Ops is looking pretty good so far, and I'm looking forward to the single player. I couldn't care less about the multiplayer. If it's good, cool I'll play it. If not I'll ignore it. However, everyone is running around talking about how the game is going to be shit.

Why? I've recently been playing World at War, and been enjoying the single player almost as much as CoD2's, perhaps even on par with. Treyarch is getting good at making a game, and I'm willing to give them a chance. Especially if they have a Zombie mode.
