Carter and Clinton ruined the country. Bush inherited their mess. First the fiasco surrounding Nafta for Clinton, and lets not forget. Carter and Clinton pushed for mortgages for people who couldn't afford them, and then pressured Fannie May to buy out these subprime loans.
Bush may not have done anything to stop it, but the Cause is on the Liberal side. You just don't hear about that because the full effect Clinton's bumbling wasn't realized until soon after he left office. He inherited a good economy which he did nothing to help. Bush Inherited his mess.
