Oh and sorry for the double post, but just going to post a quick reminder.
The deadline is tomorrow, so if you have any last minute auditions, then post them before 12:00 PM EST or they won't be eligible! Sometime tomorrow, I'll post a list of all the auditions, and then on the 15th, I'll announce the 32 participants and PM everyone who posted an audition, linking to the post. The audition results will be posted in but I'll make a for the beginning of Round 1.
Oh and that's another thing. Throughout the competition, there'll be loads of events such as announcing the deadline of a round, announcing the results of a round, or any other random announcement. Rest assured that you don't need to keep checking the NGADM threads. I'll PM all of the participants when something important happens, keeping everyone up to date (exceptions being people with their inbox full, obviously). If you don't want to receive all these PM's, then just say so!
That's it for now. Good luck!
Y'know what? Seeing as I've taken a liking to the genre, and seeing how unpredictable my creativity is, I wanna showcase a dubstep piece I did. This is so when I can't make breakcore, I still have an eligible genre; it's also to widen my range of opponents >:3

I'm sure that the time it takes to make those 5 second loops wouldn't have made any difference whether you made them before or in the 2 weeks period anyway.
Think of it this way, if it's an idea that will clearly give you an unfair advantage over the other contestants, then leave it be and don't submit it to this competition, but if it's a small idea that only took you a few minutes to make, then it's alright :).
After all, this is just friendly competition....despite its misleading name...
Alright, I can work with that. Honestly anything in my old music folder that's not in my finished folder is crap.. time to throw them in a blender and come up with something.
Got the final version of my song uploaded. :D Phew! Btw, there's some nice competition in this one. Also, will be looking forward to LogicalDefiance as a judge if I make it into the competition. ;P
Right then, the deadline's passed 4 hours and 15 minutes ago, so no more auditions from that point onwards. I'm about to do the list of auditions, so remember that if you posted more than one audition and haven't CLEARLY stated which is the audition you want us to judge you on, then I'll choose the first audition you posted. There can only be one audition per person!
Then, on the 15th, I'll post the audition results and PM everyone.

Good luck then! Never saw LogicalDefiance judge before so I suppose I'll be looking forward to it too :P.
Here are all of the auditions posted in these few months we had the thread going, minus the people who dropped out. If I made any mistakes such as left you out or posted the wrong audition, then tell me, and sorry for taking so long. Expect the results on the 15th!
We reached quite an, err... unexpected number of auditions.
(Posting the other auditions because of the rule of 50 flash/audio links per post)
I have 5 days to find out if I'm one of the final 32......out of 69 people......
Whether I make it or not, this is too exciting.

lol chron. It's Newgrounds, not the Grammys... we're dumbfucks if you remember well enough.
I'm in this thing so hard I got your grandma pregnant. Does that even make sense? No? Moving on then:
My audition entry.

You're one day, two hours and six minutes late. Sorry :(.
Also we didn't, or at least I didn't want to listen to them as they were posted in the thread. I couldn't risk one of them editing the track after I would've heard it, which would've affected my judgement on it if I had heard the edited version.
Don't worry though, I don't know about the other judges, but Darklight and I have already gone through 25 or so of the auditions yesterday, since none of us have school till the 22nd. I must say that from what I've heard the quality of submissions are even better than last year's :D.
I counted at least 15 songs that are not on par with the average quality of all the songs on the list.
Half of the auditioners won't make it past the filtering stage. That's a big number IMO and after 20 or so eliminations, you're gonna have a really hard time deciding which other 17 people to eliminate.
Have you considered a 64-man contest?
On a completely unrelated note, xKore's "Time's Up" is simply amazing. Had to say that somewhere.

We tried that last year (Group 1 and Group 2) but unfortunately it turned out to be a little less success than we expected. A lot of people couldn't make it, and sometimes we had to skip rounds and find other contestants to fill in the places of some contestants which dropped out.
Not only that, but listening to 64 songs at once and judging them all with helpful reviews in a short amount of time is a bit too much for anyone's schedule ^^.
Although we're always up for trying stuff next time there's an NGADM, if there ever will be a next time, that is.

Not to mention that, but the end round between the groups was just one giant clusterf@#$, thanks to one finalist becoming butt-sore to the comments that some of the other contestants were saying (even though these comments weren't meant to be demeaning on any level, but rather just constructive), and the other finalist taking the final round as a joke and releasing a ridiculous song just to see how everyone would react (and in the process making someone in the competition a little angry that he made a masterpiece and still got beat by the certain finalist by half a point, only to have this finalist - an excellent musician and producer by every stretch of the imagination - sacrifice his chances, which was contrary to what this certain someone would have done). And not only that, but there was also a certain judge who would keep contestants waiting for as long as a month and a half after the deadline.
Yeah, those were the days...but I know this won't happen again! =D
Oops! May have said too much! =P
Nothing More rulez d00d!
...Oh yeah, and there I go double-posting again, sorry. I'll be lucky if I can even participate in this competition this time around. =( I'm trying to make an album right now, and this will be my main focus. Not only that, but I have school and job, which take up the majority of my time now (w00t for college!). In other words, if I'm not one of the lucky ones who makes it into the 32, I won't be angry or disappointed...I have a lot on my plate right now.

Dammit, oh well. I didn't finish this song till yesterday, and I didn't want to submit one of my old songs for review for reasons of my own. Oh well, I'll just enter the next one.
