Sonic Colours Might Be...good?!

Whoa, Okay, here we go, now i liked sonic when i was a kid, and in fact, Sonic's transition into 3-D gaming was never as bumpy as we thought, after all sonic adventure 2 was deemed as the greatest sonic game ever made.
Sonic heroes was the last great sonic game ever made after a shit storm of bad games ensued.
Now there is Sonic 4, their desperate attempt at 2-D gaming again, but then...there is an attempt to make Sonic a 3-D game legend again.

I am talking about Sega's latest project: Sonic COLOURS. This game is unfortunately exclusive to Nintendo but it shows promise.
The only thing that concerns me is those weird floating things following sonic around....Could they be....new FRIENDS?!?!?!
Crap! if they are Sonic is done for, this could only end badly! Lets hope they are just cameo characters like the Lumas in Mario galaxy....

They are exactly that, powerups that transform Sonic from a drill to a living laser. A. Living. Laser.
They don't seem intelligible.

I am actually excited for this game.

It's impossible for this to come out and get good reviews or sales.

Eh, seeing as how all the other new Sonic games that were hyped to be good weren't, I'll stick to Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Heroes as valid, decent 3D sonic games.
