Sadly, there is no market for vigilantes these days. I agree with what you did, but getting authorities involved with a sex offense case rather than an assault case would have been more trouble for the other guy. If he became known as a sex offender for the rest of a life, that would do much more damage to him than a thorough beating. Unfortunately, a pissed off high school student won't realize this at the spur of the moment.

In my school, you would have gotten a ten day suspension and a fine and the other dude would have gotten arrested and expelled, most likely.

A kid got arrested and charged with sexual assault for telling a girl to "suck [his] dick" as a means to shut her up, but not to sodomize her in my school as well. He was proven innocent or the charges were dropped.

Normally I try to give sound, reasonable advice, but in this instance....

You actually did. Your girlfriend could have told the principal or a parent or even the fucking police. I admit he did need to be taught a lesson but you can go around hitting people who aren't about to hit you. Expulsion may be a little harsh, but you defiantly needed to be punished.

Ya, hopefully it goes well. I'm pretty optimistic about it. The stalker kid doesn't really have a strong case to make. He has no witnesses. I have friends and my girlfriend as witnesses.

I'm going to court angainst the school to get suspended instead of expelled. The stalker will be a witness on the side of the school. He doesn't have a strong case to make since he stalked my girllfriend so I feel pretty good about going to court.

This is why I never get into fights. Even mild things can get you expelled, like that. But you should have just screamed at him, or just shoved him, or something. That would probably still get you in trouble but not as much, still worth it.

My school is not very strict. Worse fights have happened and ended ony in expulsion.

But how are you making the case. Either way you assaulted someone, and that is grounds for expulsion. Convincing someone that he was harassing her won't get you anywhere. You acted on emotion, and you shouldn't have. You should have brought it up with your teachers and had the administration take care of it.

Isn't the school system screwed lately?

What the OP doesn't realize is just how badly this is going to destroy his entire life. No college worth the tuition will ever accept a student with an expulsion on his record. And even graduates from respectable colleges have difficulty finding jobs in this job market. The OP would be lucky to even get a GED at this point, and even if he does... good luck!
