Not gonna mention any David Lynch stuff because those are too obvious.

I pick 2001: A Space Odyssey. In fact a lot of Stanley Kubrick films are straaaange.

Maybe I live a sheltered life or something like that, because Yellow Submarine is the strangest film I've seen. Although I think Spirited Away was rather odd, Especially with that huge baby and those large bouncing heads.

I don't mean the "trippy" á la Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas kind of weird. I mean it's just a weird film as in it's the just The Beatles acting silly and it all doesn't have much of a point. If you've watched it, surely you can see that it's not exactly an ordinary film.

"A Serbian Film," that's the name of the movie and it is the weirdest and most disturbing movie I've ever seen in my life. I regret watching it and I had to physically restrain myself from assaulting the friend who made me watch it.

Eraserhead
Naked Lunch
Mulholland Drive (sucked)
Gozu (sucked, but holy shit was that odd)
Tetsuo: the Iron Man
Tokyo Fist
Fantastic Planet
el Topo

Videodrome

I guess it would probably be either "Pink Floyd - The Wall" or "Yellow Submarine". Now that I think about it, a lot of musical films are pretty surreal. YS is my favorite of the two, simply because I am such a huge fan of surreal animation. I bet it's stuff like that that inspired Animutation. I am so proud to be part of a world where we have deranged acid trips like that. "Dumbo" had a pretty surreal scene with the pink elephants.

That was an interesting one, but there's much weirder stuff out there. I liked it.

haha. That was a good movie. Billy Conolly is awesome. For some reason, he usually dies in his movies.

Following Ken Russel's death, I've been meaning to see more of his films; they often have dream-like surreal sequences.

And Terry Gillian films, I suppose.

It's gotta be Yellow Submarine. It's funny, but it's definitely an oddball.
