I mean, I liked it. A lot. But it was extremely strange and way over the top even for a grindhouse film. I love Rutger Hauer though.
I love the trailers for those movies :P
Taxidermia is still, and probably always will be, the most head fucking film I've ever seen.
Nobody can beat this.

I think the question I asked two years ago has almost been answers I mean wtf?

Zaat for sure. It is also considered one of the worst films of all time!
Salad Fingers! "Rusty spoons....."
Oh yeah, I forgot to add "Gingerdead Man 3: Saturday Night Cleaver." That's actually a really good film.

that isn't really a film
Funky Forest is the weirdest thing I've ever seen. Japan's weird, right? Well this is Japan GOING OUT OF IT'S WAY to be weird. This movie is so weird that very concept of weirdness itself is uncomfortable being associated with it.
Some of this shit in this movie is just... I don't even know, man. It's weird.
easy to respond ... weirdest and "best" (already cult by his great dilettantismus) ...
... together: "Plan 9 from outer space" (Edward D. Wood junior was so a genius) ^^
I don't watch many weird movies, I don't think. Like, Scott Pilgrim is pretty straightforward and it's probably in my top 10 weirdest, you feel me?
That sad, idk Utena the Movie is pretty out there.

Life's a performance, so give it your all like it's your last show.
Weirdest in a negative form ... a lot, inclusive Hollywood "A - movies" (big budget, stars, story is no guarantee for success).
Okay, only some examples:
Terminator 4 - Salvation ... even Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles was better)
Titanic (1997)´... for the, also with good recherching, authenticity many historical errors and goofs
the Passion of the Christ (2004) ... the language is a good idea, same so for "Apocalypto" later , but, hard to watch, even with subtitles
And naturally the most modern sequels or remakes from films.
the Thing (2011) ... computer effects, no models or animations
Fury (2014) ... the regisseur say from herself, he was making a authentic movie ^^ ... completely unrealistic and absurd scenes
For more, read only the world wide given critics and some of reviews from these few examples.
Well, not in a bad way at all but the Shining was pretty fucking weird.

Ironically ... however, these movies I have in my collection. Nevertheless, I am unable to watch they often. ^^
not good, but okay:
La Jetée, 1962 ... a short movie who has given the idea to Terry Gilliam's Twelve Monkeys
Within the Woods, 1978 ... one short movie from Sam Raimi before his "Evil Dead" trilogy
good, already cult:
Bad Taste (1987)

I think evil dead as a series is pretty weird

A series ? ^^ It was spoken from the 3 movies (4, without the remake).
btw, "within the Woods" was one first, short film with the same topic.
Wow 5 years later let me revive this though for the memories :/ . Since last time the weirdest movie I have seen has been Funky Forest Though that scene in the shining where the bear blows the dude might be up there it's a toss up.
Zardoz. Two hours of Sean Connery doing softcore rape porn under the guise of being a dystopian sci-fi film. There's a race of barbaric religious zealots and a race of hyper-prudent zealots, and when they meet Connery's character, they snap and give into all their carnal pleasures.
There was also the Holy Mountain, which felt like the 70s equivalent of a YouTube Poop. Basically a bunch of wealthy and beloved people go on a spirit journey to achieve enlightenment and hilarious insanity follows. The entire first act feels like a fever dream with how nonsensical it seemingly is.
Gozu. Fucking weird japanese movie.
what was that early film of ScarJo where she was a cannibal alien in England? Maybe that
The other would have to be Clockwork Orange.
European style films have always had this postmodern vibe to them that is surreal and really only known to the director

I think clockwork Orange is one of the weirdest mainstream most people have heard about it movies.
The weirdest film I have seen is Cool Cat saves the kids by Derek Savage.
An anti-bullying film drowned by the controversy that involved the YouTuber called I Hate Everything in 2015 among other things.
And not to mention that it's basically creepy seeing a 40-year-old man dress in a cat fur suit playing with children.
