Congrats to the winners and THANK YOU to everyone who participated!
If you haven't already, cast your vote for the winner of the NG Game Jam! The participating games were made over the course of last weekend and you can play them here.
Buzzwerd's game Sheepy is now available for iPhone. Check it out! He has posted promo codes here on NG.
I'm flying out to San Diego tomorrow for Comic-Con. You can find me and lots of other NG people hanging out at the Behemoth booth, where we'll be showing Castle Crashers PS3 and Battle Block Theater. Sorry that CC PS3 didn't make release before Comic-Con, but it remains very close. I don't have an exact date to announce.
Luis has made a Comic-Con hub for everyone who wants to come hang out!

Great job to the winners, especially 14hourlunchbreak with his great Robot Day game!
Congrats everyone. I still think 'Rageous 7 should've been first.
Congratulations to the Robot Day winners! But, seriously, 'Rageous 7 won $750?

The sad thing about the stories is the ones that did win could have been written in about an hours worth of time with little to no effort. It's a shame tons of stories went unplaced, especially since I knew mine took close to a month to write and had over 5,000 words compared to the others that did win that had less than 1,000.
The writing competition was poorly managed and I can't see how a mediocre poem can place higher than a good story.
Everytime 14hourlunchbreak wins a prize and money I'm all like "damn that asshole" but really I'm just EXTREMELY JEALOUS

MC wasn't at the office on Robot Day so he missed the four hour Rocketeer session. :(

That's like you not being at the Office on Pico Day!
minus the birthday part.
Man I can't believe the 2-month collaborative effort I did with 3 other people was beaten by an 8-hour solo effort. Oh well, time spent doesn't necessarily determine how good a submission is I suppose.
Congrats to the winners.

Looking forward to Comic Con! :D Fun fun fun fun!
Also looking at this list, I think it'd be neat if there were forum thumbnails for Art Portal stuff. Something for the redesign maybe?

The amount of time a story took to make, or amount of words it took to create doesn't automaticly make it entaintaining.
I could name tons of million dollar blockbuster outshine by low budget films. Learn some sportsmanship.
I just want Mindchamber to love me is all. All I want is his love.
or some shit.
Congrazzz to the winners and ReNaeNae for being a super winner.
Congrats, people! Robot Day was pretty interesting.
I laugh at your sigs!

I completely agree, but what I can't seem to figure out is how a mediocre poem that could be written by anyone that walked out of the 6th grade can place better than some of these stories that were amazing. Note, I'm not referring to my story at all as I didn't feel I was going to place and I greatly appreciate the vote very much. (Cash please :P) I'm stating that I felt some other stories should have been placed in first and second over what I found to be very poorly written works.
Of course opinions will be opinions and the voting is done.
Congrats to the robot day winners, but Nathanielmilburn said voting for game jam would last until Friday night. Shouldn't the voting be over by now?
Are you MAN enough to click this?!
That's a lot of great stuff you got in there, congrats to the winners! I love that you made this post because I didn't actually read any story or see any art on Robot day so I can at least see/read the best stuff!
I just wanted everyone to know that all of the hard work that went into making this

Thank you to everyone who took a part in it, and that you ReNaeNae! I am just so thrilled about what this community can do when we pull together! Not only did we have a lot of fun and make something amazing; we were able to help benefit those who truly need help.
