You have a car, if it works just drive that and if it doesn't work then fix it and drive that. There's no point in having a car just to cruise in if you ask me.

If you already have a vehicle to call your own, then you should really be thankful for what you have and not get rid of it unless it gets totaled or something. I have this rule in my family where we never buy a new car unless one of our other cars gets totaled or it simply stops working. I do not recall a time we ever had where we got rid of a car while it was still working or had not been totalled in some way. BTW, we usually have three cars.

Update:

I decided to save up for 5 or 6 months, see how much money I got, then get the most expensive model I can with it.
