My Friend Got Herpes

Well i normally wouldn't tell anybody something like this, but it is the way my friend is going about it.

He started seeing this girl and they had sex a few time, and a few weeks after this she tells him over the internet that she has had it for over a year and he should get checked out. Obviously it turned out he had it. Well he has decided to stay with her, and he even told her he loved her, and i find this crazy. If i was in his situation i would sue the fuck out of the bitch sense it is illegal to not inform somebody about such a thing before you sleep with them.

I was wondering, what would you do if you was in my friends situation?

If I got herpes from my girlfriend, and it was because she had it prior to meeting me...
I would probably try to make the relationship last as long as possible because....

Hold on your horses, sir. Maybe the girl didn't even know she had that disease. Are you sure she was aware of it? If she was then I find quite unnecessary suing her. Like if he could buy the cure of herpes with the money.

Well, first of all I would talk to her and ask her if she did know she had herpes. If she was aware then I just simply finish the relationship and never talk to her again, but suing her... Meh.
If she didn't know she had that disease and if I really love her then I can't see any reason to dump her. I mean, we would have the same disease. Pretty simple.

But we're talking about herpes... If it was AIDS then the situation would be A LOT different.
