How come the really good artists think there music sucks but the bad artists thinks there music is great?

I think it is because good artists know they can do better, while the bad artists couldnt do better even if they wanted to.

Not really true. I think my music sounds great, to me. But not everyone is like me, and I know to others it sucks. But I also make music that sounds good, but I know it can be much better but I don't know how.

It's probably more so a matter of artists having made music, and they know there can be more and better to it, or that there is better music (in their opinion), so comparable to their expectation, it's not as good. Besides, where are you getting these statements and evidence?

I'm not the one to ask. I don't get a lot of reviews but when I do, people often tell me they like my music.

heres my best explanation...

there are certain songs i have made that have gotten pretty popular over time. when i first made them i thought it sounded cool considering how good i was at making them. nowdays i feel the songs i made back then aren't that great because im making much better music nowdays then i was back then, not to say those other songs are bad. for example, my remix of caramelldansen has like 13k views and over 1k downloads, honestly i really don't like it all that much and wish i could change it. most people think a song is never complete, or maybey its cuz they listen to it too many times and it loses its "newness" factor.

Its because People ussally know or heard better music , and/or they admire someone elses music and they think their's is better and because of that they try to sound better everytime and so they post there music to get constructive critism. People who suck and think their awesome ussally have a overinflated ego.

I only consider my songs good or bad based on overall reception. What's most important to me is how people feel about it.

I wouldn't classify myself as good, but i like the stuff I make, because if I didn't like it then what's the point of making it.
