Everything vs. Religion

Newgrounds, I have a dream, a dream where we can finally prove (at least to ourselves finally) what is right. I want to pit every secular or otherwise explanation, event, or object against every one found in every religion. That's right, Christianity, Islam, Judiasm, Raelism, Scientology, EVERY religion will go against anything that isn't religious. Take evolution, a scientific theory. Cells mutated over time back when Earth was a boiling pot of minerals, getting more efficient at producing food and making a protein casing and etcetera, until they mutated into multicelled organisms and so on, until what we see today is here. There's a branch of Christianity called Creationism, whose members and teachings say that God created all life we see now, and that no species came before, and no species will come after (IIRC). But NG, I need your help. You guys need to find everything useful, and we can later refine the information into arguments. Remember, these arguments will be EVERYTHING vs. EVERYTHING RELIGIOUS. Feel free to ask me questions.

you can hate on religion, but without it, there wouldve been no religious law for the last 2000 years, meaning the idea of murdering you, wouldnt be so objectionable

I'm not saying religion is bad. Hell, when I said that we could find out which is better, religion or anything else, I wasn't really believing it!

its arguing opinions, one is a scientific theory, the other one is belief systems, you cant argue belief systems because they are based off of faith, deep personal feeling, experiences, and opinions

we couldnt argue which colour is better, blue or orange, even though blue is way cooler
people are sick of the never ending argument, it dosnt matter, cause no one wins

I respect religion as a means to bolster faith and affirm the validity of life to those who choose to follow it, i do not respect religion in the fact that it is the root of many sorrows in the world such as war.

I prefer science, as it is progress to understanding the universe, and to understand it is to make new discoveries. It doesn't necessarily make life easier, more technology means more dedication to it or 'slavery to the machine' but it is what i feel is the better choice.

As someone once said, Science flew us to the moon, Religion flew us into buildings.

You mean statements like:

Islam: there is Allah,
science: we don't know and care if there is Allah,

Christianity: there is God,
science: we don't know and care if there is God?

What is religion, really, that we can argue against it? If someone doesn't believe in evolution, he doesn't. Its not like you will persuade someone into accepting gravity by dropping a stone if he doesn't believe in it.
