People being irrational.

Situations like these piss me off sooooo bad.

There was this one kid who constantly talked shit about me. His insults were some of the lamest I have ever heard. Stuff like "pretty boy fag" and whatnot. I ignored it for a while not wanting to get in a big situation and landing myself into trouble. Well, he just kept on and on talking shit about me. I eventually confronted him about in PE when the kids were allowed to go outside while the coaches were in the gym. He starts yelling at me and pushes me and I push him back. He then swings at me and misses and I throw another one back than nails him right in the mouth. My buddy runs over and the kid walks away with a bloody lip. Problem solved I thought.

His cousin approached me later in the courtyard. He was quite a bit bigger than me. I was kinda intimidated, but I didn't wanna let it show.

Him: You don't hit my fucking cousin.
Me: You know he was talking shit about me, right?
Him: I don't care you don't hit my cousin.
Me: He pushed me first too. He was the douche in this entire situation. I was trying to talk it over with the guy. Chill the fuck out.
Him: I DON'T CARE YOU DON'T FUCKING LAY YOUR HANDS ON MY COUSIN!
Me: Yeah, say it really loud so people can think you are tough. Your cousin is a complete douche who started this whole thing anyway. Just admit that he is an asshole. Your not scary anyway... have you ever even won a fight? I see you get in fights all the time and you always lose. You even lost to fucking Clint (that kid is probably one of the wimpiest kids in all of existence).

He walked off trying to act tough even though he got told. I mean really, why was it any of his business? His cousin was in the wrong the entire time and I don't see how he didn't realize that. When my friends start fights and talk shit I really don't help them out. Just because you are my friend doesn't make you unable to commit wrong.

Here is another...

This guy found out I had been messing around with his girlfriend. He didn't go to my school and I didn't even know the girl was seeing anyone. He happened to see the messages that I had sent her and he used her phone to call my number.

Him: Stay the fuck away from my girlfriend.
Me: Krista is your girlfriend?
Him: Yeah, and your lucky I don't beat you ass.
Me: Why? I didn't know she had a boyfriend.
Him: I don't give a damn. Stay away from her and I mean it.
Me: Why are you getting mad at me? I didn't know she was dating anyone. She is the one being a little cheating slut not me. She is the one that betrayed your trust. I hate cheaters. If you are going to kick anyones ass it should be hers.
Him: You heard me.

After that he hung up. What kind of shit is that? I told him I didn't know so why on Earth would he get mad at me? I am not the one that cheated and lied to him. I watch that show CHEATERS all the time and people always get more mad at the person they were cheating with and not the one who they were in a relationship with that cheated on them. They always pick a fight with the one that their partner was with than beating the shit out of their parter which is the one they should be more mad at.

People having bias like that just pisses me off.

The first one sounds a lot like rednecks where I live. They talk a big game and start confrontations but then when it blows up and they lose the fight or get shown up they get someone else to try and beat you up.

In regards to the second one. He's just in denial that his girlfriend didn't want him and went behind his back.

People get irrational because of emotions and beliefs. Humans are territorial, greedy beings. People will be irrational and you can either deal with them or ignore them. Either way it's almost impossible to change their ways.

Anyway, I see where you're coming from. You get attacked and ignore it, then when you finally react, someone overreacts to your actions and it's a big deal.
