I myself have a pretty bitchin' schedule lined up and considering I'm going to be a Junior I get sloppy seconds only to seniors on the classes I want, which makes my chances of getting these classes quite high.
Anyways, heres what I plan on taking, and I am listing eight because my school is on a bloack schedule (4 classes a day for a semester. Each class lasting around an hour and a half a day)
Anatomy/physiology
Journalism or Creative Writing
Psychology/Sociology (One class at my school)
English 3 (I have to take this one)
French 1 (I need 2 foreign language credits)
French 2
C.A.D. (I just know it's a computer class with a laid back teacher)
and Either ROTC 4 or Culinary Arts 2
Let's see those shedules Newgrounders!

I know this is a bit further on but I'm going to university to read Journalism. Can't remember what my modules are for the first year but I'm pretty sure I have to start learning shorthand straight away.
Quite a few people seem to studying (or wanting to stuf) journalism. Whilst this is all fine and well in high school, I wouldn't recommend it for higher study or an actual career. Main reason being, paid journalism is likely to die within the next 5 to 20 years.
nobody goes there anymore. its too popular.

I'm already a journalist, unpaid to get experience. Paid journalism will never die, people will always want news and they will always be willing to pay for it. I'm hopefully going to stick with things that have online content. What is going to die in the next 20 years (maybe) is print journalism.
College Writing I
Small Group Communication
Env Science Issues Lab
General Biology II
Im thinking of Enviromental Science.

Full time paid journalism is actually looking quite likely to end soon.

Times are a changing in journalism, for better or worse remains to be seen I guess.

what limited said is closer to the truth
PRINT journalism is going to die soon
journalism as a whole will probably never die, the model is just changing
online journalism is just as profitable as print journalism if not more so

Yeah I agree, my first post was pretty ineloquent in expressing this though.

Really? Have you got any stats on this? I always imagined it'd be far harder to make money online. They're attempting to introduce online subscription services, but i'm not sure that the majority of their demographics are really used to this medium so I don't how effective it'll be.
We'll find out soon though I guess.
I just use BBC World News as my main news source, have an rss feed that refreshes every 5 minuets or so. It does me fine : )
Although for nicher subjects such as couture and music I do have to check other websites.

English
Math
Some sort of science
P.E.
and some other class I don't know of yet.
My name is backwards, if you're dumb enough not to realize.

Advertising actually provides a pretty big source of revenue, enough to pay people for online journalism on large sites a fair wage. Print journalism won't die before I get into the game and there's also broadcast journalism. I'll be prepared for all types through my course.

Pretty good for Sophomore year. AP Bio, History, Latin, and Photos are nothing. I'm somewhat worried about Chemistry. English is easy. Anatomy might be a bitch.

Not to... start an arguement but your profile says you're 17, and then you say you're a sophomore?
You obviously don't live in the U.S. then.

That makes more sense. Most seniors I know take it easy their senior year but you seem to be doing the exact opposite

thats what i thought... his classes does look tough
I love to eat green peas and to put my hand in my nose and wipe it on my chest and eat a lot of laptops lololololololololo
I won't know until midsummer, but I'm hoping it will look something like this:
Media English
Computer Sciences
Animation in Com. Tech
Business Technology
I didn't have much choice this year, and I'm sure next semester I'll have Math, History of Canada, and Science thrown in there and replaced with a couple of the ones above.

My Junior year was downright pathetic. I need to make up for that. The only one of those i'll find hard is Chemistry and maybe Anatomy. Honor's World Views is basically a theology class. Most of it is class discussion and i can carry on for hours easily because i find Religion to be extremely interesting.
