when you have two parts on opposite sides of a character move the same way.

Yep, Twinning (Not tweening), is when you have for example, a character putting both arms in the air at the same time. It is advised you don't use twinning too often either because, well..it just looks better if you offset one of the arms or legs or whatever you're twinning.

1: You get better volume control
2: You get stronger poses
3: It's easier to tweak your animation since you very early on get a feel for how it moves.
(4: You become an animation machine that produce 500 million frames a day, earning you tons of money... or you could call it just time efficient... 8D)
Sorry for putting this off for a few days guys! New questions all come out of my books so whenever i need a new question, i gotta go hunting...and get lazy..so..MOVING ON!

I'd say 4 is false, nobody can produce 500 million frames a day! But yeah, the main PROBLEM with pose to pose animating is actually ...no wait.. i'm going to turn that into a question down the road. FOR NOW, HERE'S A NEW ONE. (That might be pretty hard maybe..?)

QUESTION 11
At 24 FPS, a strolling, leisurely walk cycle would be approx how many frames?
Now i'm not looking for a PERFECT answer, but if its in the right area then you'll be fine :)
From step to step, it should probably be 22 or so frames.
uh, i didn't experiment.

False, from step to step at 22 frames would be ALMOST 1 step per second, which is actually pretty slow. If you meant the entire cycle, that's much too fast. Its close though!
12 frames for whole cycle, or 16 cant remember properly (ill go for 12)

How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop?!

I determined it when I was, like, 5.
Somehow I still remember.

Its true, from 1 step to the other an average walk is about 16 frames at 24 fps. If you set a metronome you can time it out yourself :)

an antic?
Well this isnt specific to head turning, but things i always consider with a head turning is perspective and easing?

Nope, what I'm looking for is a bit more head specific.
Adding these things add character to the head and personality to the person with said head :P
I would say draw a simple marking like a cross or a simple face first. When the head turns, change the position of the face.

While that's true, im not actually asking for HOW to animate the head, rather than what you should include with the head turning. Perhaps I phrased the question poorly :(
don't have it as a perfect circle..................................

ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT GIVING THE CHARACTER AN EXPRESSION ON THEIR FACE OR TO THE MOTION OF THEIR HEAD SO THAT WAY THEY DON'T COME OFF AS BEING KEANU REEVES?

Gettttting there.
Think of it this way, when a human turns their head, what is one thing they do 95% of the time?

Yeah, when people turn their head, they almost ALWAYS blink, watch out for it ;) The other possible answer was to rotate their head in more than just a straight line from one pose to the other. A head that goes from left to right looks much more interesting if the head kinda swivels down or up in-between these actions.

The trick is scenes, but I don't know the max. Half-credit?
