Wrong.
Anyway, that'd be pretty cool, but I don't think the PC owners would approve. They'd all assume that their game was being watered down for the console community.

All the PC elitists would get butthurt because a game they think can ONLY run on THEIR system would actually run fine on Xbox.

Didn't Valve say something about bringing Counter Strike to XBLA after original XBL shut down?

Counterstrike isn't graphically demanding, but PC players would rape the shit out of console gamers in general.

It's not about running fine, it's about playing fine. CS on consoles would be (and is) a completely different game.

All I see that would be different would be a higher framerate.

Maybe aiming speed, but thats what sensitivity is for.

The framerate would be lower, but that isn't the issue. No matter what sensitivity you adjust the game to (on console), you will never have both the speed and accuracy found on the PC. It's that speed and accuracy that make CS the unforgiving game that is it is.

It wouldn't be the same on consoles, that's all I'm saying.

framerate is actually pretty critical in cs. Having a higher framerate=smoother movement, better registry, and less gun recoil, most noticeably on rifles.

No matter what sensitivity you adjust the game to (on console), you will never have both the speed and accuracy found on the PC. It's that speed and accuracy that make CS the unforgiving game that is it is.

Anyone good at pc fps games uses a relatively low sens, for more precision. But with mice, you can still move it very fast while staying for precise. Higher sens sacrifices precision for speed, but with a mouse it just doesn't matter.

The game has a faily large skill gap between new and experienced players.

It wouldn't be the same on consoles, that's all I'm saying.

CS for Xbox was a massive failure, so I don't see why they would want to try porting it again to the 360.

Besides, without custom content, CSS is basically a turd of a game really. I highly they would be able download custom maps, skins, ETC.

Oh, as I'm mainly a console gamer, I can safely say that I aim the same way with a mouse, touchpad (Laptop) and analog sticks.

I don't even LIKE the custom mods and things. Sure there fun. But the heart of the game lies in de_dust2.

And Miami.

Oh yeah, the sole population of CSS players are always on gun game, zombie mod and texture servers. It's not like anyone plays the default maps, they're all shit.

Oh, as I'm mainly a console gamer, I can safely say that I aim the same way with a mouse, touchpad (Laptop) and analog sticks.

That's impossible.

Playing on the Insane sensitivity getting headshots with the sniper, something I'm quite good at on Halo 3.

I'd quite happily play anybody on Halo 2 on the PC with an Xbox controller. Although I agree that mouse is easier (not more skilful), to use when it comes to playing Counter strike.

Whether you think so or not, CS is a successful franchise. CS on Xbox was good and popular for its time. And if CS was released for Xbox 360 it'd probably take off and would be playable and fun. I know I'd play it the day it came out.

Counter Strike is too basic of a game to be put on a home console. Sure it's one of my favorite game series, but there's no campaign and it's all multiplayer. Not too many home console players want a game that just supports online multiplayer because not every 360 player or PS3 player has online play. However, Counter Strike on XBLA and PSN does sound feasible and like a good idea.

Am I the only one who thought he meant his hand was in the same position on the aiming devices, such as he only uses a thumb with the mouse, rather than moving the crosshair to aim with each peripheral which would be well, fucking obvious.

I don't even..
