The concept is simple: what is your favorite place to eat out in your neighbourhood. Tell us about it.
It would be nice to see something other than a fastfoodchain of course, but anything real is possible.

My favourite place in my city (Leuven) is "DeWerf"

It is a cute restaurant with cheap but delicious food. Let's say you can eat a good meal for about 4 euros.
It's menu consists of wraps, pasta, chowders (hollowed bread with a dish put into it) and a range of salads. What I like most is its points of homely originality. So they don't provide fancy napkins, but just some kitchen paper roll on the table. They have fancy ikea type plates and cups. They provide a blanket outside to put on if it gets colder.
They have a very funny way to present some dishs. So there is a tea chart detailing what the supposedly benefits are (one of which they claim to be quite sex performance improving). They serve tomato soup with meatballs alongside meatballs with tomato soup. Their way of making hot chocolate milk is providing a glass of steamed milk and a cup of broken chocolate bars. Their chart also dares to spell the dishes in a cute local language, rather than spelling it out in some fancy correct linguistic thing.
Lastly, they have some very fun traditional granny-made type of desserts, like tete a tete chocomousse and the very homely petit beurre cake. All of which they produce themselves.

It's overall a sweet student type of place that I would definitely take a person out on if he wants me to show him the city.

So what would you recommend?

Bocce Club Pizza. It's a traditional Buffalo pizzeria with probably the best pizza I have ever tasted and amazing Buffalo wings.

In Holiday, Florida? Jeeze, we barely have anything here, my neighborhood is probably the only one that isn't the slums, other than the one down the street. Well, there is this one place down by a 99 cent store called Angelo's Pizza, which has exceptional food.

My name is backwards, if you're dumb enough not to realize.

There's a great italien place in Horsham called Strada. They do absolutley amazing pesto sauce and pizza. They can be a bit pricey, but definatley worth it if you've got a bit extra to spend. The bread they serve whilst you're waiting is enough to make a trip worth it.
