If you were confronted with a box full of these puppies and the mother would you take the mother and all the puppies and keep them as pets?

it sucks to take pups away from the mother

WHY ARE YOU SO OBSESSED WITH DOGS?!

I would take one puppy and make sure I have a sheet which the mother has slept on so for the first night the puppy can still smell it's mother and not feel afraid. Then I'd give it a good life so that it looks up to me as a master.
