Does cussing make you sound mature?

It depends on how it's used, if it's used in a clever or humorous way then you're not exactly mature but you're not immature. If it's used every 3 words in an argument that is just blatant insults then you sound like a 10 year old "fuck you you fucking faggot i swear to fucking god fuck you you piece of shit" that's just terrible.

Cussing never makes you sound mature, though it's expected from only older people. It can only make you sound immature if used like i mentioned.
Though i do curse a lot (never like the 10 year old example) but only because i feel like i could never express myself fully if i don't throw in a strong word.

The reason I would swear at a video game would be because I was angry. When playing a video game and something bad happens, of course we're going to get angry. What do we want to do when we get angry? Break something, of course! Obviously I'm not going to want to break my $60 controller that I love, and there's nothing near me to throw or break, so we do the next best thing, which is screaming. But what do we scream? Swear words, of course!

this is a very odd discussion but ok...

I cuss, i don't do it to sound mature. I do it because I can and WILL get pissed off while playing multiplayer. Those saying they cause to be mature are hiding their true feelings.

Swear words are just words, meant to be used for what they're for. Going "Shit!" means something bad just happened. To me they're just words that get your point across like any other word. I won't use them excessively, I'll use them whenever the situation fits.

I agree with that. This is why i swear. However, I do believe people (mostly younger kids) try to swear to sound cool or older (again younger kids want to sound older). You can usually tell a person who cusses is immature when they constantly swear every other word, or try to combine swears together (e.g. ass-shit or fuck-dick).
