You're only hurting your own experience. I've used emulators, and let me tell you, it ain't as good as the real thing. A physical copy, the actual hardware, these things improve the experience. Games are more fun when you're sprawled out on the couch than they are when you're sitting at the computer.

Who said he was emulating it on the PC? He could be emulating it on a PS2, a Wii, a PSP or a DS too, ya know?

*facepalm*

Dude, you DO know that talk about emulators/ROMs are not allowed on the forums, right?
That may be, but emulators aren't illegal.

I think this is true if you actually own the system.

Emulators and ROMs are likewise illegal.

The only way that you can actually use the software is if it is an exact copy from your system/cartridge/ISO for backup purposes only, meaning that they cannot be downloaded from anywhere or sold.

Yeah i recently bought a controller for my old Snes even though i could emulate. There's something magical about blowing into a cartridge for 5 minutes and finally getting it to work. (No Sarcasm) It's really rewarding and nostalgic.

True that. I remember when me and my bro got the SNES working. I really rather go with a system, instead of emulators. I gave away all my old video games (for a good cause of course. It was for children who didn't have anything), but then again I kinda wished I didn't. Oh well, I'd rather just go ahead and start saving up my money.
Flea markets, here I come.

Hey, I'm Jonathan. Call me Jonny. I have a computer. You probably don't.

Nintendo8.com has great NES, Gameboy, and Master Drive games. For SNES, look no further than the Wii store. For early arcade games, they're everywhere. Even Google had Pac-Man a while ago.

Can you be a little more specific as to how retro you want to go? I mean, for all I know, you could be talking about all the way back to games like PacMan, BattleZone, Centipede, Galaga, even Space Invaders, or as recent as Marathon Infinity and DooM 2. I'd play everything from 1980 to 1996.
