I don't know, I kinda have mixed feelings about the movie. It is not a bad idea to make one I think, just they are gonna have it take place in the modern day world...in NYC? I don't know how that'll play out, but we'll see I guess.

Gargamel is going to played by Hank Azaria apparently. To be honest, he kinda looks like Gargamel :p

I doubt the movie will be that good, but there's probably gonna be a lot of hype over it.

It's gonna be terrible like any cartoon adaptions including Alvin and the Chipmunks. Hollywood filmmakers can't create ideas themselves, so they brutally put the Smurfs in a movie where they go to the overused place, New York City.

Also, having to cast a whole bunch of obivous celeberties. Which is a pretty familar thing to Hollywood movies.
