I have a story, but im not sure how i should post it here. Its 50 pages 8.5x11, 35,000 words. Please help.

Nobody is going to invest into 35K words without prior knowledge of what they're reading. Your best bet is probably to post a 3 - 5k word excerpt. If it's interesting enough, I'm sure the person will be more than happy to have the rest.

What you have to consider now, however, is why do you want people to read it? Are you looking for critique? Or are you just fishing for compliments?

If it's the former, you have plenty of hands on deck to help you. If it's the latter, then you're out of luck unless someone is feeling especially generous.

I'm seconding Deathcon7 here.

35K is a very, very big editing investment. That's... what, 60 pages or something?
60 pages is a turnoff. 60 pages with something incredibly awesome however isn't.

So, some info about what your story's all about, a summary or something would be very helpful.

Until the writing portal is up and running, serialising the piece here is going to have to do - post a few pages of it and see what the feedback is like - if it is good, post some more, perhaps?
