Tomorrow is the two-week mark for my stay in San Diego - only one more week to go before I can return to Philly and see my cats! Alien Hominid console development has been going great - I'm so excited about how well this game is shaping up, it's just 100% pure fun to play! It isn't always 100% pure fun to code, though.... My eyes are killing me. This is definitely the biggest undertaking I will have achieved in my life up to this point, and that says a lot I think. Hopefully the final product will serve as inspiration for all the aspiring programmers here on the site!

We were tinkering around with the idea of bringing a devkit to a local video game retailer and showing off AH to the public before it is finished. Just out of curiosity - who here is in the San Diego area and would show up for that sort of thing? Also, do you like Bassam as much as I do?

Sounds good Tom. Any idea when it'll be done and we can finally get a glimpse of it? Also, just a question about when it gets released. What stores are you planning to sell it in? And for the love of God, please tell me you're going to sell it in Canada. I really don't want to have to drive to Niagara Falls/Buffalo to buy the game.

of course thats saying alot. this is a huge moment in your life thats almost completed. and the work that you have put into this will definately show in the final product. i, for one, am proud of you for doing this, and i hope you keep up the hard work and determination that goes into doing something that takes this much effort
