any bass players out there??

hey guys i am a bass player in a new electronic music project! trouble is i am having trouble getting the sound i want...

i have a bass synthesizer pedal, but i cant get to the effects i quite want..

Sounds to me like you're after a moog style bass sound. You probably aren't going to get something that creamy out of a bass synth pedal.

Might have to take up keys, my friend. Either that, or get a MIDI pickup for your bass ;D

If you can't afford a midi pickup, then there's not really much other advice that I can offer you. You'll just have to play around with your synth pedal and try to approximate the sound. Which model is it btw? Is it the silver one with the red writing? I think it's the boss syb-5.
