I don't recall what kind of music he does and don't know the name of the band so I can't just look it up blindingly. Best I can do is look up his full name and see what I can do, but I can't really be bothered to be fair.

me too in romania,we just do some silly exercises ... not different courses like in US
btw: the second video is better because he is singing ... for a math teachers is pretty cool .
That amp sounds like crap, so if sure he is better with a acoustic guitar. Not good for 40 years guitar-playing, but for his age he is kinda good.

he was way better with acoustic guitar, but my phone was very low on batteries.
he actually didn't want to play but all teachers had to sing karaoke, and he got to choose between singing karaoke or playing guitar and singing.

the theme song of sesame street isn't that old...
Well he wasn't that bad, for a hippie math teacher. He was a bit sloppy, especially starting out. There was one song he was really struggling with, it the intro to some Red Hot Chile song. Someone said he played only one chord, which he obviously didn't, he even played differant chorde formations... but he seemed rusty at a few change ups as he pauses while trying to switch the chord enough that it was terribly noticeable and if he was playing with a band it wouldn't have gone over well. And when he blamed his sloppiness on the quality of the amp, no... that wasn't it, it was because he was stopping a secons and a half more than he should of between different chord formations. But do not fear, it is accaptable.
Not that bad, he's not the music teacher after all and he probably doesn't practice every day. I'm ure that when he does it's probably on acoustic which you mentioned he was better at. He also was better when he was playing acoustic becuase he had warmed up.

he played acoustic before we plugged it in, and for the breaks you were talking about, he wasn't really playing a song, more loose bits of music we requested.
i guess he's good. he can play guitar, it isn't all that impressive, if he'd been playing for 40 years i'd think he'd be better than alot of the 17 year old guitarists these days... and i dont want to sound cocky but i can play better, and i can list tons of NG artists way younger that can do better to... So i mean it's not bad or worth saying sucks, but it's just not really even above average...
Yeah, i've found that to, the most unexpected and boring teachers always seem to pull off the most unexpected stuff.
My boring deputy head (And im talking the Sour Puss) came in dressed like Abba, another time we had teachers doing Singstar for Abba to. Our maths teacher, the most unenjoyable (But he can be funny and is a good teacher) maxed out the score for one of the songs.
Sweet Jesus, that was scary.
I expected something better for 40 years of playing the guitar honestly

My algebra teacher also plays guitar, he said he has a band and all, but I've never seen him play. He said he'll bring over something they recorded one day. He just turned 40 too.
shit's amazing
Damn he's pretty good, shows that even teachers can be badass.
Ironically, when I was in school I also had a Math teacher who had guitar skills. (Singing too.)
He proved it one day by playing Led Zeppelin's Stairway To Heaven on an Acoustic guitar whilst singing.
He was pretty awesome for a 50+ year old Math teacher.
I used to go to an art school. Seeing people play guitar is nothing special to me.
thats cool. sometimes teachers are boring as teachers but theyre amazing as people. and the opposite.

Because every time they begin to play a game that involves firing a gun, this picture springs to mind, they turn off the console in a panic and then curl up in a ball, crying.
