Awesome! I owe so much of my internet and Flash design interests to newgrounds. It really got my creative juices going, and I'm excited about this documentary.

Getting back on topic here I wish I could donate some money but sadly I am sqeezed for cash at the moment. Good luck with getting the funding for it though.

I honestly thought about the same thing, but then the film would just be a documentary about themselves. That's kind of stupid. It'd mean a lot more to the purpose of the documentary (about the community) if it was funded by the community itself.

Because there are documentary funding rules and guidelines when you try to submit your documentary to film festivals. If Tom paid for it, then it would cease to be a documentary and become a paid advertisement. At that point it might be excluded.
