I'm not a thirteen year old girl and I enjoy lady gaga, I think she makes some pretty nice music. Not to mention she is pretty hot. And I do know thriteen year old girls who like her also and probably listen to a wider range of music than you do.

Did you actually watch any of the live performances that I linked?

Besides, I never said she wasn't popular, of course she is, shes had the most consecutive number one hits in music history; her popularity is irrefutable.

But this doesn't take away from her musicality, if you watched any of those videos you'd realise she has more potential than the rest of the top 40 combined.

Mainstream music from any decade is generally pretty awful. Try listening to a genre you like on grooveshark or something and you'll find plenty of music from this generation thats not been made simply for profit.
