why would you get a new laptop, and why post this on newgrounds. Wipe the hard disk, reinstall windows, and it will work again. I would recommend getting some antivirus software incase it happens again, but to be honest as long as you don't download anything except well known programs like web browsers and itunes and google products, and stuff from microsoft, it should be fine. If it is really damaged, buy a new hard disk. My hard disk broke and I got a new 320GB one for £60, and a copy of winodws 7 for £66 (I had vista, and no recovery disks).

I have 187 threats. About 80 of them are viruses, 60 trojans, and the others are some bullshit called riskware.

Do system restore and format your hard drive.

That will wipe out all viruses and other shit (along with your files) but you still will have a (fast) computer compared to now.

Take it from someone who did that and now has a speedy computer.

try booting DSL from disk.
if it boots, it's not fucked.
press the install to hard drive button if you liked the speed your laptop just booted at.

command to boot up is: "dsl boot" (no quotes)
