I think its just wrong to think about.
Go ahead and use the "i-can-only-divide-by-ten-system" in your crazy backwords society, i like complicity and making everything harder than it needs to be.
FUCK SOAP.
Fair enough, but there should be a standard list that shows how many feet fit in 1 butt-cheek or how many bellybuttons of water you need to fill a container made for 5 earlobes of liquids.

yeah, we americans are assholes. lol. We pump our gas in gallons instead of liters. And we all have to own 2 sets of wrenches... 1 standard, 1 metric. Fucking democracy
You are on a website with more than just users from the United States. So when you stay "we" you need to specify, but yes I wish the United States would switch but it will never happen.

Pretty obvious he was talking about America. Considering we are the only relevant country that doesn't use it (sorry Myanmar and Liberia). I think he was giving you too much credit by thinking you could actually figure it out yourself.
Yet you seem pretty happy with your decimalised currency!
Bring back the old british shillings i say
The only non-metric mesurement I know everyone else uses is miles, and they don't use it very often :|

I think every country should use Rupee.
For no reason.
I guess the standard system worked back in the old west, but everything got more precise now :(
Man I wish the old west was back...

I like the way you think. COCK JOKE

For the most part, there is no real reason to completely convert to the metric system in the US. The only real advantage is in science and medicine to avoid unnecessary conversions, and the metric system is already used in all branches of science and medicine and by many other industries. As for casual, informal use, there is no real issue using the imperial system, both systems do the same job: to measure.
Also, most road signs and markers (Except near the borders) are only measured in imperial units, replacing them would take in upwards of 10 years and cost millions of dollars, money we really don't have to spare on changing something that will have little effect on road safety or traffic efficiency. Not to mention major overhauls in the construction industry (Which uses the imperial system solely), agriculture (In how wheat and grain is sold, usually by the bushel rather than in kilograms), public infrastructure, and countless others would have to take place, and with no real need rather than to "fit in" with the rest of the world, its not worth the investment until there is a true need.
Eventually, yes, we'll convert to the metric system, but its a process that will take a very long time and will require a major change in our own culture, and will probably never complete. The metric system is already taught in our schools, and many, if not most people (Except in the South, fucking rednecks) know about how long a kilometer is, or how much a kilogram weighs, so were getting there.
