Yes, guns are more dangerous than fireworks. But guns can be used in self-defense if somebody tries to mug you

fireworks, on the other hand, have no other purpose but to light on fire and look pretty. [if you're that concerned, it's not like its impossible to get a permit >__>]

Well if you'd throw the fucking firework, instead of holding it in your hand saying "hurp derp watch this lolz", then you're fingers would be fine. If I were to hold a gun to my head with no intention of pulling the trigger, but then start fucking around with the gun and do shoot myself, was it the gun company's fault for my being a dumbass, or my own?

It sounds stupid since fireworks are recreational, but why not have licenses for fireworks and other minor explosives?
