Buying a new PC

This is a good and a bad thing. My birthday is coming up and, i have really needed a new computer because of all the new stuff that is coming out that my computer will explode if it comes in contact with it. My parrents want me to get a laptop yet i want to do pc gaming. The problem this presents is that i am having a hard time finding a laptop with the proccessing speed to even play current games. The only laptop that looks like it can play some games out now that isent over 2000 dollers is a alien wear one. Shown in this link. For some reasen my parrents don't like the space my computer takes up witch isent much really and with a laptop it will be less sure. What i have now is a 2.4ghz, 4gb ram and a 400 gb hard drive. The best decently prices laptop i can find is 1.6GHz (with Turbo Boost up to 2.8GHz ), 4GB ram and a 320GB hard drive. Someone help me i don't know where i can find a good laptop. I have tried to convince them to get a desktop for half the price. This one looked decent, here. Does anyone know a good laptop to buy somwhere in the price range of 1000US$-2000US$

The damm thing is a downgrade from my desktop unless i have it running on turbo bost but i hear that heats up the thing and you can't play it for long periods of time like that!

It's incredibly easy and all you really need to do is not buy any prebuilt... EspeciallyAlienware.

I REPEAT: DO NOT GO WITH ALIENWARE. They may seem powerfull but all of their shit is extremely overpriced. Build your own. If you can build your own, order all the parts and see if a local computer shop can do it for you.

Go to this site,or this site to order the following times:

A Case
A Motherboard
A Good PSU
RAM compatible with motherboard
CPU compatible with motherboard
Graphics Card compatible with PSU and Motherboard
DVD Drive
A Hard Disk Drive that will work with your motherboard
Either dig-up a system restore unit disk or buy a new OS. Windows 7 for example.

And tada, you got yourself a nifty cheap computer.
