Would You Keep Your Account

Would you keep your newgrounds account if there were a bunch of girls (hypothetically) that knows about your account and they keep track of every post you make? Every nerdy comment, every cuss word, every embarrassing thing, but you have over 15k posts and a huge account and fame in Newgrounds?

What if there was a possibility of other people like your schoolmates and coworkers and bosses and etc. finding your posts, identifying you (LOL) and thinking you badly because all you did was post weird stuff and controversial stuff?

I think that's a hard question.

I would keep my account even more so. Just to piss people off I'd start writing about how terrible my co-workers were or how much of sluts these girls are. That would make NG a little more interesting than it is now for me.

I live in constant fear that any one of my friends will find my NG account in my history, or simply through some coincidence that they have an account too, and recognize me somehow. I'm dead serious, it would fuck with my social life big time.

Not for me. I would keep my account, even if I was for some reason being cyber stalked. Mainly because I already have some stuff submitted, I love this user name, I've got a good amount of voting power/experience points. What also makes the choice easier is that I pretty much just post advice or jokes.

I wouldn't say I've posted anything on here that would be really embarassing. I act more or less the same way online as I do in real life; there are things I am happy to talk about and things which I aren't. The basic rule of the internet is that anything you post is automatically public.

My life is great well I'm content with it and myself outside of Newgrounds. So in that sense I never signed up to create some alter ego or representation of what I want to be or how I wish I could be. For those answering yes that is most likely the case. Not all but some.

The "internet badasses" who can easily talk shit here or shout what they hate would be real life pussies who whisper what they think for the most part if people could see their stuff.

For those who don't fit this description and could answer "yes" to your question I can understand their reason. Like anything there is a line for your privacy. So NG and a person's account would be like email or their whatever social network page they have and understandably no one would want people all in their shit.

But I don't believe most that said yes would be more about this. They'd still most likely be the people who are afraid of getting beat up or looking like the sick people they are to everyone. This is their alternate persona. The image they can make for themselves. Take that away and they probably don't have much use for their account beyond that.
