Sorry there's a typo in the poem. It says "but wasn't that hairy" instead it should say "but it wasn't that hairy"
There's room for TWO more poems, then I'm cutting it off. So if you wanted to take part, better speak up! (You can always edit it over the next few days if needed).
Thanks again to everyone!! :D

Count me as one of them.
Failure should push you until success can pull you.
this is my third poem, put this on the reserve stack if you find new people eager to contribute
Body & mind
P-E-G L-E-G never sleeps,
It doesn't ever rest,
Solar powered hands are always on the go,
Loading down for the dating-up to slow,
Gyro ears never stop always do their job,
If they would fault, then I would halt and I would lock and drop
Brain is flesh never rest,
Always thinks of things,
Heart stop tic-toc,
Battery is dead.
Limerick maybe?
Marry a Robot
If you wish to lose your cherry,
then find a robot to marry.
Just ask your mothers,
they make excellent lovers,
because their genitals are never too hairy.
no sex before marriage

I am in a crappy limerick mood. You dont have to use them. I just thought I would share.
MindChamber
There once was a robot named MindChamber,
who was said to be a true maimer.
But give him a chance,
to ask a lady to dance,
and at the end of the night he would bang her.
yes maimer is a word.... kinda

lmao!! nice! I rearranged things to fit those two in. They'll just have to be on the same page and not have art.
So, that's it. Just waiting on TrevorW's :P
We ended up with 30 poems ...and 2 limericks! lol
Not bad!!!
I most likley won't be posting in/updating this thread again until this is submitted, so if you want to keep tabs on things, check the art forum thread.
SteakandKidneyPie will let you know the status of coauthors once we get that all figured out!
Thanks! You guys rock!!! :D

aaaaawww thank ReNaeNae!
Here is my finished one:
July 10th is Robot Day,
Where robots get their day of fun,
and listening to the Audio Submissions,
plus hoping to win the art contest.
Sitting in the Hot sand,
making sand-bots for their sand castles,
and avoiding the water so they don't rust.
Watching movies and pulling all-nighters,
hoping the party never stops,
Go Robots!Go Robots!
I wrote two poems that I would like to remain together.
Black Cotton
filling shimmering plains --
basking in the noon-lit smog,
how beautiful the sight.
bloomed of master's craft:
a hand to form and one
to breath in life--
a smoggy nurturing.
on their buds cotton plays gay,
as the harvest be tender--
yet, it too, spreads the black
with the tick of an iron clock.
A Picker's Coo
When white
it was pure.
Now black
such the cure...
Failure should push you until success can pull you.
CORRECTION...left off the first line...opps.

What no more poems are allowed in?! But I worked so hard on this please let some more in.
Thoughtless Creatures
Impassable eyes, we wear a disguise,
Theories and stories and fables,
A thoughtless creature is born,
A procedure, a series of actions
Monitoring, watching, observe,
Thoughtless creatures they are,
always acting and reacting,
according to all that surrounds
Opinions, thoughts, imagination,
all things that we've created,
to represent the complex things
that we don't yet understand,
All are thoughts are programmed,
They are Affected and Altered,
By the world and universe around us,
We will never be free and forever
... we will be robots ...

Getting Through
I made an excuse, I preteded I was ok,
doing the same thing, day after day,
Sometimes its tiring, but I get through, I have...
no determination but my lack of thoughts will do
There's no need to think when, all that I do,
is wait for time to end me course of use,
It's a depressing life, but I still survive,
because my lack of emotion helps me get through
My life would seem so pointless,
If I had a life at all,
The life of a robot,
it bares no rewards,
I talk about the world when,
No one is around,
The life of a robot...
Bares No Rewards

I said I'd try to get one about Robocop and one about the Terminator in, hoping it's not too late.
Terminator
He came to their time in a flash of light
And started killing Connors
Left and Right
That burly Austrian
With glowing red eyes
He's deciding who lives or dies
Sarah's fleeing,
The machine won't cease
Then out of the night comes Kyle Reese
He saves the day
And as they get away, he explains-
"The future's blown up, it's sad but it's true.
And I'm here to stop You-Know-Who.
You're son's a savior, he'll put an end to the bad;
The only thing is, I'm the dad."
Then an attack
And all the action's back on track
A car chase, explosion, Kyle is dead
Sarah's staring,
At a steel plated head
But she too quick,
And that hydraulic press,
Makes quite a mess
But he's the Terminator
Wielding a shotgun, all decked out in black
Hell yeah you know it,
He'll be back

Nice poem, but it's too late. It's closed for some days already.
I'm not the one in charge, but that's the info we got.
You should check out the corresponding thread in the art forum for more information.

Sounds good. Any ideas for charities?
I suggest IFM.
